Can Guys Develop A Bubble Butt? If So, How?

I don’t think there’s anyone on the planet that doesn’t want to have a nice, desirable ass, and that goes for guys just as much as it does for girls.

While women are traditionally the ones you see blessed with beautiful booties, there are a lot of men out there with a nice caboose as well.

So, this can lead you to wonder – are these men just blessed with incredible asses, or is there a way that you can get one too? Can guys actually develop bubble butts themselves, or does it really come down to luck of the draw?

I have some good news for you, and some bad news. In this article, we’ll discuss how you can make your butt look as nice as you can – regardless of your gender.

Genetics Vs. Work

The truth is, genetics do play a small role in how your butt is going to look.

Some people are blessed with a naturally curvy ass, just like some people have beautiful eyes or a nice smile. Some people get fat around their stomach, others get it more so in their legs, and some naturally get more of it in their tush.

So, I won’t lie and pretend luck doesn’t play a factor.

However, the truth is that you can take whatever it is that you’re given and make it a lot better, and this goes for everyone. Whether your ass looks like a giant blob of fat or is so skinny that your bones are practically poking through it, if you’re willing to put the work in, just about every man can end up developing a butt that will turn the heads of women – and men too, that are into that sort of thing.

So, this is a reason to get excited!

But, it is work. Even for the girls you see on the internet – those legendary asses that make your mouth water, they did not come on their own. A lot of the Onlyfans models or TikTok thots you see going viral actually spend a lot of time making sure their asses look as great and shapely as possible.

So, what do they do?

It ultimately comes down to two things.

1. Losing Fat

The first one is the hardest, and that’s losing fat if you’re noticeably overweight.

Contrary to popular belief, you can’t really target fat loss to specific areas of the body. It’s not really possible to lose fat around your legs or stomach or face, while still keeping it on your butt.

Men do have it a little bit harder, because women more commonly store fat in their butt cheeks. For men, a lot of what makes a nice, shapely bubble butt is building muscle in the area, which does come easier to them than with women.

However, if all that muscle is covered up by fat – which extends down to your legs and across your hips, it’s going to mask the muscle underneath, making it impossible to see.

So, if you are overweight, the first thing to do is to start losing it. At least 95% of weight loss happens in the kitchen, as you’ve got to consume less calories than you expend each day. This means tracking your calories using an app like MyFitnessPal, and ensuring that you come in under your calorie goal each day.

Exercise helps of course, but not as much as making changes to your diet. While cardio can burn a lot of calories at once, adding in weight lifting to your exercise routine will help ensure that when your body is at a calorie deficit, you are burning fat off instead of muscle.

And to keep as much muscle in your glutes as possible, you’ll want to make sure that some of your workouts are focused on this area as well.

2. Ass-Focused Workouts

This brings me to my second point. You’ll want to be doing exercises that focus around building the muscles in your ass, aka your glutes.

Many people think this just means doing squats, but actually, squats don’t build your glutes as much as most people think, unless they’re wide squats which are a little bit better.

Anyway, when it comes to your body, you’re either at a calorie deficit, or a calorie surplus. You should be doing ass-focused workouts at least a few times a week regardless.

While you’re losing weight, or at a calorie deficit, the workouts will ensure that your body isn’t eating away at your glutes while you’re losing weight. And while you’re eating at a calorie surplus – to put muscle back on, the workouts will ensure that those surplus calories are being used to build the bubble butt that you’re looking for.

While you can’t lose fat from specific areas of the body, you can build muscle in specific areas of the body. That’s one of the thing that’s special about workouts focused on specific areas – you can build them up specifically, which is great for this purpose.

Heavy deadlifts and thrusts – in addition to wide squats, are great exercises to build your glutes. But if you just search on Google or YouTube for exercise routines to build a better butt, you will find hundreds of exercise regimes you can try out. You aren’t going to transform your butt in a week, but if you stick to it for several months or longer, you WILL see results.

If It Works For Girls, It Works For Guys

Finally, one more thing I’d like to point out, and that’s that you shouldn’t shy away from videos that are targeted towards women.

It really all comes down to trimming down fat and building your glute muscles. And the exercises that do this are no different, regardless of your gender.

If you’re working out your glutes, you’ll build muscle there – probably even easier than most women, to be honest.

So, any tips that you find towards helping women get a better butt, will work for men too.
