That being said, it is possible that you can cross a line without realizing it. So, let’s look over some examples of what’s not okay, and would be considered inappropriate behavior by most people.

What IS Creepy Behavior

1. Taking Pictures Without Them Knowing

The first thing you absolutely shouldn’t do is take pictures without them knowing. This means no candid shots, no filming them or their naughty bits without them realizing it, and definitely no spycams or anything that would break the law.

When somebody chooses to share a photo with you, or they post it online, then it’s fair game. At that point, they can’t really have any expectations or control over what ends up happening to it, or what it ends up being used for. Obviously, don’t share anything that’s meant to be kept private, but nobody should hold expectations over how you personally enjoy the photos either.

I remember my dad telling me when I was young, “Alexa, whatever you post on the internet stays there forever. Always remember that.” Thank goodness he’s been supportive of my porn career!

Anyway, as long as you’re sticking to photos that they have chosen to share, you should be in the clear. The same goes for photos or videos they’ve been tagged in and are okay with being publicly posted.

It’s only when you have footage they don’t know exists does it become a problem.

2. Enjoying Nudes That Weren’t Meant For You

The second thing that’s immoral and unethical is enjoying nude photos or videos that weren’t meant for your eyes. Again, this comes down to the idea of consent and ownership of the images.

Nudes are sacred, especially to girls. If they’re sent to someone, it’s done with the understanding that it’s meant for that person only. It’s going to be kept safely on their phone, and that person will take steps to make sure that nobody else is able to see it. Of course, some men get off on sharing the nudes of their girls, while others do it after breakups or other bad events.

This is commonly referred to as revenge porn and in many places, is actually illegal – with some states making it a felony charge if you’re convicted of it multiple times.

3. Telling Them, Or Hitting On Them While Horny

Finally, the last thing that definitely crosses over into ‘creepy’ territory is telling someone that you’re masturbating to their pictures. Or, hitting on them or sending sexually inappropriate comments because you’re horny and can’t control yourself.

Again, what somebody doesn’t know won’t hurt them.

It might be hard to understand what a big deal this is, because sadly, guys do not get enough compliments. How To Stay Safe

Now that we know what’s appropriate when it comes to masturbating with your friends’ pictures vs. what isn’t, let’s now look over how you can stay safe while doing so.

There are really two things to keep in mind.

1. Download The Pictures

The first is to download your favorite pictures, if you can. And the reason for this is that while you’re holding your phone in one hand and pleasuring yourself with the other, there’s a lot of movement going on. It’s very easy for you to like the photo by accident, which will immediately send a notification to their device.

If you end up liking a photo they posted 6 months ago at 2 AM, it could lead to an uncomfortable situation!

Most social media websites allow you to download photos directly, or you can also take a screenshot. As far as I know, Snapchat is the only app that actually notifies people when screenshots are taken.

For things like Instagram Stories, there are online tools you can use to download them as long as they are not private.

2. Use A Photo Vault App On Your Phone

Once you’ve got the photos downloaded, I recommend storing them in a separate locked folder, or using an app designed for this purpose.

I recommend one called Private Photo Vault for iPhone, and I know there are similar apps for Android as well. Basically, it stores the photos inside of the app, and hides them from your camera roll. You can even lock them behind an additional passcode, so if someone gains access to your phone, they won’t be able to see the photos.

Again, this all comes down to avoiding uncomfortable situations. If someone opens your photos and sees a bunch of lewd photos of themselves, or someone you both know, it could cause problems.
