Q&A: What Happens If You Get An Erection During A Massage? (+ What To Do)

Erections are a natural part of receiving a massage, and massage therapists see them on a regular basis.

As long as you are respectful about it, they aren’t usually a problem. However, it’s possible to get kicked out without trying to, as many respectable parlors have little tolerance for sexual behavior.

In this article, I’ll be covering what will happen if you get an erection during a massage, and you’ll be attending a parlor that doesn’t offer “happy endings” – though we’ll talk about those too.

I’ll also be covering important things that will avoid you getting kicked out and banned from the establishment!

Happy Endings Vs More Legitimate Parlors

We’re going to assume that we’re talking about legitimate massage parlors here, not those that are essentially a front for prostitution.

Of course, if attending one of those parlors, attaining an erection may meet you with offers if you’d like something more. This makes sense, since this is essentially the reason why so many men go there in the first place.

As exciting as an experience like that may be, I don’t have much experience with it, since

1. I’m a woman

2. I live in an area where this sort of thing would be considered illegal.

I have learned a lot about it from talking with men on the phone however, and some of them also helped provide some of the information I’ll be sharing in the rest of this article.

So anyway, if you are visiting a parlor with a massage therapist that offers happy endings, disregard everything I’m about to say. If you’re going to a more upscale parlor however, you’ll want to pay attention to what I’m about to share!

What Happens If You End Up With An Erection?

It should be noted that getting an erection, on its own, is not anything to feel ashamed or embarrassed about. Massage therapists know that it happens, and will not hold it against you in any way as long as you are respectful about it.

That being said, the purpose of you being there is to receive a massage, not to flaunt your erection. And sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s not going to impress the massage therapist, turn them on, or make them think positively or negatively towards you on its own.

So, what happens next? Typically, there are two options the massage therapist will take.

1. You’ll Be Covered Up, If You’re Not Already

First, if your penis is not already covered up, the massage therapist may take the opportunity to do this.

In order to avoid arousing you further, they may start working on muscles that are located farther away from your groin area. This makes it unnecessary for your penis to remain uncovered anyway, so they may use a towel to cover it up while they focus on other muscles.

This is the most common approach, unless of course you’re tenting up so high that keeping the towel on proves a challenge.

2. You May Be Asked To Flip Over

It’s also possible that you may be asked to flip over onto your stomach.

This will hide your erection completely, and putting pressure on it may help it go away before too long.

Once some time has passed, you’ll be cleared to flip back over onto your back, so other muscles can be worked out again.

Massage therapists may avoid massaging your butt / glutes while waiting for your erection to go away, as this can be sexually stimulating for some people.

Avoid These Behaviors If You Want To Avoid Being Kicked Out!

Typically, either covering up with a towel or flipping over onto your stomach is all the action the massage therapist needs to take. They won’t shame you, make comments, or act disgusted if you get an erection. They are professionals, and they handle them in a professional manner.

However, it’s also important that you are respectful if you don’t want to get cut off, shamed out, and banned from the establishment.

Some people think they are sneaky or clever trying out some of the things I’m about to mention. But again, unless you’re at a parlor that specifically offers sexual services, these types of behaviors will do nothing but make the massage therapist upset, and lead to negative consequences. Trust me, they’ve seen it all!

So, let’s look at some behaviors to avoid if you do end up with an erection during your massage.

1. Deliberately Drawing Attention To Your Erection

An erection is natural, but just like while visiting nudist resorts or nudist beaches, you are not meant to draw attention to it.

This means you should avoid talking about your erection (unless you’re apologizing) and you should certainly avoid doing things like flexing it up and down.

Use common sense. You know if you’re deliberately drawing attention to it or not.

For the sake of both of you, just avoid it.

2. Asking For Contact Near Your Erection

Massage therapists are also privy to when clients ask them to massage closer to their erection, such as below their stomach or on the inside of their thighs.

They know that you’re only doing this because you’re turned on, and they certainly have the right to refuse.

I’ve even talked with men that have been able to orgasm hands-free just from contact on their inner thighs, even if no contact was ever made with their penis itself.

Again, this comes down to just being respectful.

3. Touching The Massage Therapist

At no point should you physically touch the massage therapist without first receiving prior consent.

Massage therapists may be intimately touching your entire body, but this does not give you the right to touch them at all, in any capacity, regardless of whether you’re turned on or not.

Even if the massage therapist is massaging your butt for example, it’s important to keep in mind that touching them sexually can lead to the same criminal charges as randomly groping someone in the street.

I understand when we’re horny our judgment and inhibitions are lowered, but this one can really land you in hot water if you’re not careful!

4. Humping The Table

Finally, for the love that all is holy, do not start humping the table if you’re asked to flip over.

I did not even consider this a possibility until talking with other massage therapists who have witnessed this behavior.

Yes, it is a way to stimulate your penis and even achieve ejaculation when you’re horny. But again, think about it in any other scenario.

You wouldn’t start masturbating yourself in the middle of a restaurant or while standing next to a woman on the street, and expect to get away with it.

So if it’s not acceptable behavior in public, it’s not acceptable behavior during a massage either.

Even if you’re naked, and even if you’re horny.

Closing Thoughts

If you’re going to a specific parlor for sexual reasons, that’s one thing.

If you’re going to a legitimate massage parlor for a legitimate massage however, it’s expected that you act in an appropriate and respectful manner. If you worry you won’t be able to control yourself or spontaneous ejaculation is a problem for you, it may be a good idea to masturbate before you go there just to be safe.

Again, I don’t believe erections – or any natural part of the human body, are anything to be shameful of. But in the end, it comes down to be respectful of people trying to do an honest job.
