Lovense Gush 2 Male Vibrator Review
It’s reasonable to assume that all vibration toys are the same. That is, until you’ve tried something like the Lovense Gush 2.
At first glance, it’s simple enough to assume you simply wrap the toy around your penis, turn it on, and that’s all there is to it. However, like most Lovense toys, this thing goes a lot deeper, and has a lot more features than most people would probably be aware of if they didn’t already own a Lovense toy.
In this review, I’ll be sharing the good, the bad, and perhaps most important of all, what makes this penis vibrator so incredibly unique.
The Packaging
Before we get into the nitty-gritty, let’s first quickly cover the basics.
The Lovense arrives in a clean, simple box pictured above. The minimalistic design and the holographic text gives off an elegant, premium feel and sets a good impression for what you’ll find inside.
Open it up, and you’ll find the Gush 2 neatly packaged inside, surrounded by a small amount of foam to help keep it safe during transit.
I’m happy to share that mine arrived in perfect condition, and didn’t seem to suffer any impact damage at all while going through the U.S postal system.
Once it’s fully unboxed, you have a small information packet, a two-pin magnetic charger, two bands to strap the toy to your penis for hands-free enjoyment, and of course the device itself!
You may wonder – why not USB-C? Well, the magnetic 2-pin chargers most Lovense toys use help protect against water damage. Since there is no open port for water to seep into, the Gush 2 can be comfortably used in the shower, or even submerged completely!
Lovense Gush 2 – The Design
Overall, the design of the Gush 2 makes it very simple to use.
Simply wrap it around your penis, with the underside of your head resting against the vibrating circle, visible through the material. If you’d like, you can strap the toy to yourself by using the included adjustable bands.
Actually, just a quick note – the Gush 1 did include a band, but it wasn’t adjustable. The Gush 2’s bands are a HUGE step up that allows you to get the toy strapped to you quite securely, regardless of your girth. Note that if you lose your erection however, the toy can still slip off, so you’ll want to be mindful of this.
(If you want something you can use for longer periods of time regardless of your erection status – for example for public play, I recommend the Lovense Ferri, even for men!)
I’m happy to share that it does fit comfortably around you, and the flaps – while sturdy, don’t feel like they’re gripping you too tightly. I used a similar toy where it felt uncomfortably tight around me, and it made it harder to use on longer sessions. This wasn’t a problem with the Gush 2.
Once you’re comfortable, press and hold the power button on the front of the toy to turn it on. The battery life lasts for just under 2 hours of constant use, but I’ll be extremely impressed if you last even a fraction of that time!
How Does The Gush 2 Feel?
You’ve got the Gush 2 perfectly positioned for your penis. The vibration is going. But… how much does it actually stimulate you?
The Gush 2 on its own (without being connected to the Lovense app) comes with X different vibration modes. You have low, medium and high intensity, as well as pulses, and a few others. One setting wavers between medium and high intensity, where other feels like it’s ‘sweeping’ up before resetting to a lower level again.
Connect the Gush 2 to the Lovense app and you have literally infinite options, but we’ll talk more about that later.
When I say this toy is stimulating, that’s a huge understatement. At its max power, it is able to give off 4,300 oscillations per minute. That is nearly 72 oscillations per second.
It is VERY powerful, and that is coming from someone whose favorite vibrating toy was the Hitachi Magic Wand.
So long as you use a bit of water-based lube, you can also lightly stroke with the Gush 2 as well. This obviously isn’t going to be as simulating as a toy designed for this purpose, but it does feel nice when the urge strikes.
The incredible vibrations combined with the stroking makes this an incredible toy for edging, and building stamina.
Note however that because the toy is so lightweight for the amount of power it gives, that vibration does travel through the entire thing. This can make your hand numb if holding it for lengthy periods of time. If this is bothersome to you, the Hitachi Magic Wand is a good alternative.
However, by choosing another toy, you miss out on Lovense’s fantastic app and ecosystem, which is what takes this toy from ‘really good’ to ‘one of the best.’
Lovense App, Ecosystem, And Features
This is where the Gush 2 really shines.
If you’ve never used the Lovense app, you’re in for a major treat. I could literally write an entire article just on the features the app provides, but let me just share some of my favorites with you:
- Create an infinite number of vibration patterns. Loop or save them to enjoy them over and over again.
- Allow someone else to control your toy with their smartphone – even if they live across the world.
- Sync up with a partner – activate your toy when theirs activates.
- Let random people from the public control your toys.
- Play games that activate your toys, or change the patterns. Yes, seriously.
- Sync up your toy with music.
- Use your Gush 2 as an alarm to wake you up in the morning.
- Full text, voice and video chatting system.
Even creating your patterns gives this toy infinite versatility. When you add all the other features on top, it’s just icing on the cake.
Video And Stream Syncing
Two other neat features that aren’t talked about as much are video syncing, and stream syncing.
Video syncing allows you to use the VibeMate app to sync your Lovense toys with adult videos, using the power of AI. This means that while the action is happening, your toy can be vibrating in sync with it, which is an INCREDIBLE experience. While I personally prefer The Handy for interactive videos, the fact that Lovense has an automated (albeit, not perfect) way to handle toy syncing is incredible.
Another neat feature allows you to sync your toys with your favorite cam models or streamers. That way, when their toys vibrate, your toys activate too!
I’m writing this review for a Vtuber named Lewd Lexi. Her streams are a ton of fun, and the chat loves playing edging games with her that has her toy going off quite frequently.
Being able to feel what she’s feeling – from the surprise from a random tip coming in, to the pleasure of holding out while trying not to cum for 10 minutes straight, is nothing short of incredible. It makes me feel much more immersed in the streams, and feel better connected with the streamer.

Cleaning
Finally, let’s talk about cleaning.
Because of the way the Gush 2 is designed, cleaning is extremely simple.
It’s open-ended, so semen doesn’t get trapped anywhere. It’s made of silicone, so it doesn’t permanently harbor bacteria. Finally, it’s completely waterproof, so you can soak the entire thing and not worry about it breaking in any capacity.
Simply wipe it down or run it under water, and it’s clean in seconds.
This makes it incredibly quick and simple to clean, and a great choice for fun before bed!
Closing Thoughts
If you want a vibrating toy, the Gush 2 is hands down the best one that I’ve tried so far.
The design is comfortable even for hands-free play, and it feels amazing. But then you have the Lovense ecosystem on top of it, which offers features no other vibrator can match, and you see why the Gush 2 becomes the obvious winner.
