Latex Condoms

First, let’s start with the most popular type of condom material on the market today.

Latex condoms are made from a thin layer of rubber called latex. Latex is a naturally-derived material that comes from the sap of rubber trees, though it can also be made in a lab. Latex condoms are the most widely available type of condom, and they have the added benefit of being very affordable compared to other condoms on the market.

Pros of Latex Condoms:

1. Latex condoms are one of the most effective forms of contraception available, with a typical failure rate of just 2% when used correctly.
2. They are effective at preventing the transmission of STIs due to their tight fit and impermeability.
3. They are often vegan-friendly, which may be important to some couples.  Some are processed with a milk protein called casein though, so be sure to check the box.
4. Latex condoms are available in a variety of textures and styles to enhance pleasure during sex. You can choose from smooth, ribbed, studded, flavored, and even glow in the dark condoms.

Cons of Latex Condoms:

Allergies

Latex condoms are not the best choice for those who are allergic or sensitive to latex. Some of the symptoms of a latex allergy include redness, itchiness, and swelling after use. If you experience any of these symptoms after using condoms, it is important that you switch to a latex-free condom alternative immediately and consult your doctor.

Less sensation

Latex condoms can reduce the sensation of skin-to-skin contact slightly, which may be a downside for some people. However, many modern condoms are now made to be extra thin and more sensitive to combat this issue.

Not great for oral sex

Lambskin condoms are made from the intestinal membrane of lambs. They are the most natural condom option, as they are the only type of condom that comes from an organic source. In fact, these types of condoms have been used as early as the year 1642!

Pros of Lambskin Condoms:

1. The most obvious advantage of lambskin condoms over latex ones is the natural feeling they provide. Many couples prefer the sensation of lambskin condoms because it feels the most like having sex without condoms.
2. They are also a good choice for those who are allergic or sensitive to latex, as they are completely free from synthetic materials.

3. Like latex condoms, they are completely biodegradable.

Cons of Lambskin Condoms:

STI Protection

Polyurethane Condoms

Polyurethane condoms are made of a thin, synthetic material that feels similar to latex, but is stronger and more stretchy. This material is great for those with latex sensitivities or allergies.

Pros of Polyurethane Condoms:

1. Better for sensitivity: Polyurethane condoms can be a good choice if you find that latex condoms dull sensation too much. They are often thinner than latex condoms, giving a more realistic feeling of skin-to-skin contact.
2. Safe for latex allergy sufferers: This material is great for those who can’t use latex condoms.
3. Can be used with oil-based lubricants: Unlike latex condoms, polyurethane condoms are compatible with oil-based lubricants without the risk of breakage. This is great news for couples who prefer this type of lubricant, which tends to last longer and can even feel more natural than water-based alternatives.

Cons of Polyurethane Condoms:

1. Heat conductivity: Polyurethane condoms don’t insulate heat as well as latex, which can make them feel slightly colder to the touch, which some people find less pleasurable.
2. Less pleasurable for oral sex: Some people also say that they can have an unpleasant taste, which may be a downside for couples who like to mix things up. This makes sense, as they are essentially synthetic chemicals.

1. Latex-free and allergy-friendly: Polyisoprene condoms are another great option for those who are allergic or sensitive to latex.
2. Pleasurable feel: They have a similar feel to latex condoms but are stretchier and more comfortable for many people.
3. Pleasurable for oral sex: Polyisoprene condoms do not have the unpleasant taste that some people find with latex or polyurethane condoms, making them a great alternative for those who love to give and receive oral pleasure.

Cons of Polyisoprene Condoms:

First off, safety should always be your top priority. If you are not sure whether or not you are allergic to latex, start off with a condom made from another material. You can always switch to latex condoms later if you and your partner don’t experience any issues.

If you do not have any concerns about STI transmission, then lambskin condoms could be an option for you if you prefer the feel of them over latex condoms.

However, if STI transmission is a concern (which should be for all sexually active couples, even in monogamous relationships), I recommend sticking with latex or a latex-free alternative like polyurethane or polyisoprene condoms.

Conclusion

Condoms are an essential part of responsible sex and contraception. However, not all condoms are the same, and it’s important that you find the best condom for you and your partner’s needs.

If you’re allergic to latex, don’t enjoy the feeling of condoms, or simply want to try something new, you may want to consider a non-latex alternative. The three most popular types of lubricant are water, silicone, and oil-based lubricants.

Each of these have their pros and cons, and in this article, I’ll break down everything you need to know about each, so you can make an informed decision next time you’re shopping for lube. I’ll also share some of my top recommended lube brands to consider trying out!

Let’s slide into it! Get it? Slide?

Ha. Ha…

Water-Based Lubricant

Water-based lubricants are the most commonly used lubricants, and for good reason. They’re safe to use with condoms and all types of sex toys, making them the most versatile option available. Honestly, whatever you’re planning on using it for, you usually can’t go wrong with water-based lube.

They’re also hypoallergenic, which means that they are unlikely to irritate your skin or sensitive parts. This makes them a great choice for those who haven’t tried many different lubricants before, or for couples who aren’t sure about what works best for them yet. So listen – if you’re with a new girl or you’ve never tried lube before and you want to play it safe, look no further. This is what you want.

Clean-up is also simple, and they are in fact the easiest to clean up after sex – just use water!

However, water-based lubes have a major downside – they tend to dry out faster than any other type. This means you may have to reapply often if you’re planning on having a marathon session. This can be a turn-off for some. It’s probably not that big of a deal since they can still last 30 minutes or more, but yeah.

If you rarely use lube, the water can also evaporate, which means the bottle will only last years instead of decades.

There are some water-based lubricants that are advertised as ‘long-lasting’ but they usually use glycerin, which can be irritating to sensitive parts, especially if used too often.

Silicone-Based Lubricant

If you’re looking for a lubricant that lasts for ages, silicone is your best choice. This stuff is like liquid silk. Once you get it on, it will keep your parts slippery and wet for a long time without needing to reapply.

Silicone lubricant is also waterproof, meaning you can use it in the bath, the shower, or even a hot tub without it washing off.

However, this is also the biggest downside to silicone lube – it’s also not water soluble. This means that getting it off your sheets can be a real pain. In fact, the phrase ‘how to get silicone lube out of sheets’ is searched for hundreds of times a month on Google, and there are probably a thousand different ways to ask that question. Let me just say, it takes a lot of dish soap and a lot of patience.

Silicone can also not be used with silicone or TPE sex toys. That means if you have a silicone dildo or an onahole that you love using, you’re going to want to stick to water-based lubes.

Oil-Based Lubricant

The final popular option is oil-based lubricant. This stuff is thick, long-lasting, and slippery as hell.

The biggest advantage of oil-based lubes over water-based lubes is that they can also be used in the shower or bath, and they’re unlikely to dry out quickly.

Like silicone, it lasts a long time without needing to be reapplied. This makes it a great choice for anal, where pulling out and reapplying the lube isn’t as easy, nor as hygienic.

Unfortunately, oil-based lubes have a few major drawbacks.

For one, they’re not compatible with latex condoms. In fact, using oil-based lube with latex condoms can actually make them more likely to break, which defeats the whole point of using a condom in the first place! If you must use oil-based lube, make sure the condom you’re using is polyurethane.

Additionally, they are harder to clean up than water-based lubricants, and can also be messier in general. Not as bad as silicone, but not great either.

Pros

• Lasts a long time
• Still suitable for most sex toys, including silicone
• Great for anal sex

Cons

• Incompatible with latex condoms
• Can be messier to clean up
• Harder to find in stores – but plenty of options online!

For brands, Gun Oil is a great one, or you can just use plain old coconut oil.

Conclusion

In my personal opinion, you really can’t go wrong with water-based lube, as long as you aren’t playing in or around water. That being said, silicone and oil-based lubes have their places as well.

It’s worth trying out each type at least once – assuming it’s safe to do so, and seeing what you like best. Different lubes – even of the same types can feel quite differently, so experiment and find which you like best!

As you’ll find out in this guide, onaholes vary quite a lot. However, the gist of them is that they are a realistic tunnel that you either thrust into or stroke on your cock. Some of them are meant to deliver a realistic feel to a vagina, anus or mouth, where others are just meant to give you intense, exciting stimulation.

The most common comparison I see people make is to Fleshlights. Now, Fleshlights are great. They are durable, pretty easy to clean, and they’re still a great step up for somebody who has never tried something like it before.

However, onaholes hold a massive advantage in terms of their realism, how good they feel, and the variety offered. They’re also more aesthetically pleasing – instead of just a vagina in a tube, onaholes may resemble a miniature body with an ass and breasts, a sleeve, may include legs or thighs, and so on. Though, a lot just look like a sleeve.

Onaholes Vs Onahips

When browsing shops that sell onaholes, you may also see a section for something called ‘onahips.’

Onahips have similar tunnel design and feeling to onaholes. However, they’re much larger in size, from something that you can hold with two hands to bounce up and down on your penis, to the size of a full woman’s ass.

The benefit of an onahip is that you can fuck it just like you would an adult woman – for example, missionary or doggystyle. They also look nice, and give you more to grab onto.

Materials: TPE Vs Silicone

Next, let’s talk about the types of materials that onaholes come in.

If you’re used to traditional sex toys, you’re probably most familiar with silicone. Silicone makes up most dildos, anal toys, and other types of toys you’ll find on the market. Everything from kegel balls to butt plugs often come in silicone, and for good reason.

Silicone is easy to clean, it’s very durable, and it’s non-porous. This means there aren’t microscopic holes that bacteria can get trapped and grow in. Silicone onaholes are very durable and can last a very long time – in fact, there’s no reason they should break if properly cared for. However, they don’t feel very realistic, and are often quite firm or hard, which can be off-putting to some people.

This is why most onaholes use a material called TPE, or thermoplastic elastomer. TPE is very soft, very realistic, but comes with downsides in terms of durability. It is porous in nature, and will grow bacteria or even mold if you do not properly care for your onaholes.

That being said, TPE onaholes can still last for years and years with proper care, even with regular use. For most people, I recommend starting with TPE onaholes – they are truly the best in terms of stimulation, and you won’t know what you’re missing if you don’t try one!

Single-Layer Vs Dual-Layer

This isn’t quite as important to know about, but onaholes also come in single-layer or dual-layer varieties.

This is basically how many layers of material there are with the onahole. For example, a dual-layer onahole may have a harder interior material to make it more stimulating, and a softer outer material that feels more like skin.

Long-story short, single-layer onaholes tend to be less stimulating, but more durable. They may also be cheaper. Dual-layer onaholes are generally more stimulating, but the layers can separate over time.

Soft Vs. Hard

Most of the world’s most popular onaholes are stocked here, and their site has great navigation to help you discover new onaholes as well. Filters are available for things like softness, genre, size, and more.

ToyDemon has a loyalty and rewards program that gives you cash towards future purchases, and the amount increases over time as you ‘level up’ to different tiers. This makes it a great site to order from once you start collecting onaholes and spending more money.

Some items are priced a little higher than I’ve seen them elsewhere, but you’re getting a company that ships from the U.S, avoiding the hassles that come with international shipments when ordering from a place like Japan.

That being said, I did have one experience where a package was lost by USPS after ordering from them. It took 3 weeks after the product was supposed to be delivered before they were willing to acknowledge that the package was truly lost, and although this wasn’t a normal experience, waiting a month for onaholes to arrive left a sour taste in my mouth. I feel customer service could’ve been more proactive about making it up to me. At the very least, expediting shipping for the second order. But nope.

Finally, we have OtonaJP.

OtonaJP ships directly from Japan, which means higher shipping costs, slower shipping times, and well, it has to go through customs. However, they offer cheap prices on their onaholes, and offer a lot of products that the other two sites don’t carry. In fact, there are a ton of onaholes I’ve never even heard of here!

OtonaJP also sells ‘scent sprays’ that might enhance your experience, if you’re into that. Some examples include ‘Scent of a School Girls Uniform’, ‘Scent of Female Student Lotion’, “The smell of my niece’s sweat”, and “The Holy Odor of Steamed Panties.” I have not tried any of these, so I don’t have much to say about them.
